About the Artwork

Peace in Community draws us into a gathering of children, brightly dressed, animated, curious, and completely at ease in one another’s company. Seated and standing close together, they share food, conversation, and laughter, their faces full of personality and warmth. At the center of their world stands a single word: PEACE.

Bold reds, yellows, and blues bring the scene to life against a cool teal backdrop, while playful details (colorful hats, braided hair, patterned clothing) reward a closer look. It is a joyful reminder that peace begins in the simple act of gathering together.

A cheerful piece for a family room, classroom, or children’s space, and a meaningful gift for teachers, families, and anyone who believes in the power of community.

Every purchase helps share the beauty of Haitian art with the world.
